STACKIST SYNDICATE COLLECTIVE
In the vast landscape of data and ever-evolving urban environments, Stackists Syndicate Collective offers an alternative reimagined existence. Our collective inquiry looks to past, present and future relationships between humans, technology, and the spaces we inhabit. Through performance rituals that contribute to an ongoing longing for collective joy, we blur the lines between reality and fantasy. As an emerging collective, we create architectural installations of found and made objects, sound and video works, which ultimately visually re-mystify the physicalities of a society pushed into stasis and disconnection, thus creating an eerie surrounding, one full of hauntological entities. Within a world where euphoria and anxiety go hand in hand, we invite viewers to confront their own relationship with space and how power structures operate within them. This collective endeavour of fragmentations of sonically activated hostile architecture, post-rave melancholy, bio-mapping and an omnipresent technologically induced delirium can illuminate the path forward into other worlds.
